Project Spotlight: Zeminas – Haydarpaşa Railway Station, Istanbul 🇹🇷

Haydarpaşa Gar is one of Istanbul's most recognisable landmarks, a historic railway station on the shore of the Bosphorus. Our partners at Zemin Etüd ve Tasarım A.Ş. are monitoring the structure before, during and after ground improvement.

The instrumentation combines tiltmeters, crack meters and multi-point extensometers, all connected to an Ackcio wireless data acquisition system. The readings are transmitted to Oxstone, where they can be viewed and tracked live, giving engineers real-time insight into the structural behaviour of the building as the ground improvement work proceeds.

The layout image shows the project being viewed in Oxstone, where a 3D image of the station has been uploaded and the sensors layered on top, an intuitive way to see the monitoring setup in its real-world context.
